Bell did have one of his better games. 2 hits and 2 defensive gems.I did not hear any talk today at the park regarding JJ's return. And the fact that Bell swung a nice bat today will probably keep him in the lineup in game 2 if it is a righty throwing for the Barn.
Bell gave the Gators a hell of a game with his glove today, not sure you want to take him out.Agree. If he's still healing from a cracked bone it would be risky to put him behind the plate. But if he can hit it would make perfect sense to put him at 1b. That would solve the Bell or Smith quandry and get us a pretty good defensive catcher and a guy coming on at the plate at catcher.
That is the most surprising thing to me. I thought the bats and pitching would come back around but the "D" has been very uncharacteristic of a Scully Defense. Our defense continues to suck. Our outfield looks hung over.
Hearing he could be ready next week if we advance.Anyone have the latest on JJ's return?
He's fun to watch never gets rattled, all though he did slam his glove in the bench after the second inning, like you say a hell of a competitor.Singer---what a competitor!
On the bench is where you do that, not of the field. He's composed. He's fun to watch never gets rattled, all though he did slam his glove in the bench after the second inning, like you say a hell of a competitor.
Much like Faedo. Once they get mad watch out. Composed, focused on fierce on the mound, let's loose in the dugout. Love it!!On the bench is where you do that, not of the field. He's composed.
Tied 1-1. leadoff hitter gets on top 7, 8 hole up..swing away, swing away, swing away
Maybe todays the day...
