It's not overrated. It is a great burger. However, it is OVERPRICED... $13 for a bacon chz burger, small fries, and small drink... I'd rather pay half that for one at Wendy's which is almost as good...

Now for a local burger, if you've ever in Ocala during the weekdays, try Hungry Bears. Its a weekday drive-thru only joint just off of downtown that has great burgers and shakes...

Whoppers don't even have real meat on them anymore.

$13 dollars, damn. I got a bacon cheese burger (two patties) for $7.8 at Five Guys last Friday.

Agreed, Hungry Bears has a damn good burger.

As for your $13 meal... skip the fries and coke... those 2 things will kill you.

That's all we are grading, I got the burger and a drink for $11 and some change after tax. With the prices of burgers at a number of other venues it's about right (as far as I have seen). McDonald's had their steak burger selection from $6-$8. Arby's main sandwiches are about $5. Red Robin is about $10 (but not going back there). Now do I think that 5 Guy's fries are overpriced. $3 for a small is too much.

In no particular order...

Five Guys
In n Out
Culver's

But my favorite burger ever is a 2 store restaurant in the DFW area Flip's Patio Grill and their carnivore burger is unbelievable.

1/2 lb burger topped with 1/2 lb of marinated sliced ribeye and topped with double cheese. So freaking good

Culvers, nice choice. Of course, I don't think there is a Culver's wihtin 12 hours of Hoggetowne.

I never understood the attraction. They were so McDonaldsish and mediocre. Or maybe I'm just hatin on Californians and tired of hearing about it.

I'd drive past 10 In and outs to get to a Whataburger. Awesome selection of peppers and hot sauces.

A Culvers just moved in just down the street, are they that good? I haven't been yet?

I like them a lot...butter burgers are delicious. They also have some decent cheese curds for a fast food joint.
