Why are you laughing? He's got experience on the job. And he's in G'ville and unemployed and under 80. How convenient?

No.

Because we'd have to offer Steve Russell, too. Before you know it, we'll be talking to Dooley about managing the athletic department.

  • We've been turned down by Muir and the UNC AD already so I expect another underwelming hire by UF.
Yes, you're boy pat Dooley said this on the radio today. They both suck so I'm cool with it.

Is this true or are you reacting to the "They have removed their names from consideration" comment?
Many times when a high profile candidate realizes they will not be offered the job they announce that they are not interested. This way they save face with their current employer.
I did the same thing when UF told me I would not be considered for the job.

I have no idea if it's true or not. However...it's out there and we're "allegedly" in scramble mode. Hopefully this crap will get over soon and we land someone worth talking about!
