So Tim Brando, says during Texas game that CK was seen doing a walk around at UCLA and Kelly has "declined" the Florida opportunity. The declination is unconfirmed. Fwiw

Backed out of a deal with Florida and nixed talks with UCLA over Under Armour because he's a Phil Knight Nike guy. The guy's a kook.

All of this according to a financial advisor from Ocala who says it was leaked by a Kelly assistant who supposedly stands to be hired by Kelly if Kelly himself can ever get over himself, which sounds like Jonathan Vilma.

How's that for clear and authentic?

Here's this theory I payed 3 rumors for - so it must be a done deal. =

Kelly is so reclusive-elusive that reporters started the gasping-grasping writings that create a myth, a legend of exaggeration. Then Kelly develops a fear of not matching those if he enters the real world of the coaching grind. So now he's frozen, can't move for fearing he won't live up to the over-inflated Chip Kelly. The stronger the hiring pressure, the more he cacoons. No longer a good fit.

First year growing pains. IMHO, he's a great coach. You'll know more next year for sure but lots of great coaches have rough 1st years.
