Sounds familiar. I'm sure many of us were the same way. I hope he gets things figured out.
Sh*t...I'm still that way and I'm 34  I hope he does also...kid has the talent but it seems like he doesn't have the heart for it. Hopefully a change in scenery will help him find his love for the game again.

Through the first 4 games at FIU, Worton leads the team in receiving w/ 14 catches for 294 yards and 3 TDs. (next closest receiver has 12 catches for 95 yards). FIU is 2-2 w/ close losses to Miami and Indiana.

That’s... interesting.

Weird. I smoked accounting in undergrad then struggled w tax law in law school.

We have plenty of three star FIU type players. We should send them more.

It wasnt fair for Butters to steal so many.

Butters loved him some FIU talent.

He was actually a WM recruit during his final days. And as GB25 said, never did anything other than flail around looking for a flag.

He was part of trade where Jimbo got Cook, Lane, and a '15 WR, in exchange for Worton and Souza.

Solid.

That's pretty much the caliber of player you will pull in when your recruiting "big guns" are PB&Js and :dubster:

Thanks for straightening me out!

I hope there were also cash considerations in that trade.

Why would you do that to yourself? I mean sure it's somewhat informative, but all I heard were horror stories so I avoided it like the plague.

:rotfl:
I had delusions. Did really well the first year.

I also made the mistake of taking Friel. Back then he was the LLM Tax dean and all the eggheads took his class hoping to impress him. Had all the CPAs, brokers, financial, JD/MBA types.

Worst grade in law school.

C.J. would have been a good receiver for us if we had an offensive scheme to use him. I think Calvin Ridley would have looked like a bust as a freshman if he had Treon Harris attempt to heave a ball his way.

Just going to say this about that Tax LLM, rumor has it that if Dean Rosenbury had her way that would disappear...or at least the faculty that took it to the #1 Public Tax LLM in the nation in 2017. Clarifying these are just rumors...

I think you smoked something other than accounting.

Worton has the talent to be successful here. He was always labeled as immature and that’s what held him back. I’m assuming that meant he was lazy
