I just don't see him making another lateral move. Especially to a less prestigious SEC school. And by prestigious, I mean historically relevant.

Multiple college sources tell us that if Harbaugh winds up choosing to go to Michigan, Florida defensive coordinator DJ Durkin is likely to join him; if not, perhaps Texas A&M is where Durkin will wind up; but that remains to be seen.

I'm not sure he's "trash", but he certainly made a quick rise up the ladder. He took over an FSU D that was LOADED....and bailed out knowing they had to replace a ton of talent on the 2014 team to take over a UGA D that was loaded (until they started losing players to suspensions/dismissals and injuries). He certainly knows how to go somewhere favorable. I suspect he won't leave UGA until he's offered a head coaching gig.

With Bobo and Friend off to Colorado and Pruitt's name being tossed around for other coaching jobs, Mac should have an opportunity to pilfer some of UGAy's recruiting class.

Also, FWIW, I've heard the reason Pruitt left Tallahassee so abruptly was that he had gotten sweet with one or some of the Tallahassee "talent" and was given an ultimatum by his wife (then fiancee): leave Tallahassee and the hussy behind or else. Don't know that Athens would make a difference. That's like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.
