FSU, UF students facing federal charges after being accused of bank fraud, aggravated identity theft
A former University of Florida football player and several FSU students have been indicted on federal charges after being accused of using account numbers to fraudulently deposit funds into FSU students' accounts, including their own.
On Tuesday, Lawrence Keefe, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, announced an indictment against Kh’lajuwon Amari Murat, 21, Kadeem Wysler Joseph Telfort, 22, Jada Tisean Barton, 22, Ariel Apperlyn Smith, 22, Deshauan Antwaniece Sanders, 22 and 22-year-old Voshon Howard.
All seven people have been charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, 17 counts of bank fraud, and 8 counts of aggravated identity theft.
What a bunch of stupid names for ppl.
I’d like to know if those names have an origin or just came to folks after some purple drank.I don’t know. I was able to recognize and pronounce one of them.
*edit: oops, that was the District Attorney.

Wonder how lucky the other UF guys were that they didn’t get more deeply ensnared.Kadeem Telfort brought up on federal charges.

Wasn't he one of the retarded 10 that had credit issues when he was enrolled here?
From reading up on the case, Kadeem Telfort went way beyond what the others did. I assume he tried to get the others involved. We will probably never know.
Is this the fallout from his time at UF? Or is this another credit card crime he got caught in again? If I remember correctly, it wasn’t his role in the matter that was worse. He just accumulated the most charges because there were like 40 individual incidents, with some being as small as a few dollars. Pretty sure he was the one that used the cards for Sour Patch Kids and other candy. They were just all individual felonies, which is why even though it was the least amount dollar wise, they wouldn’t let him plea out.
Hopefully he learned from his time at UF and made this theft/fraud count.

Original. Thanks, btw. My 12yo kid heard it. I’ll be hearing about that for the rest of the summer
You are honestly complaining about a post from 3 years ago? Damn that is Swamp Donkey level trolling...
StPeteGator has obviously been busy and is just now catching up on things from 2017. You know, things like the credit card fraud, who won the Super Bowl that season, etc.
It’s the same. But looking to this article, I’m wondering if this was not something that originated at FSU? Could it be possible that an FSU credit card scandal caused the downfall of the Gators that season? Is this the fallout from his time at UF? Or is this another credit card crime he got caught in again?
