So why didn't he play right tackle?

Who else on the team is blind?

Fulwood? He couldn't see the ball.

LDR? He couldn't find the open receivers.

Cronkrite? He can't see the blitzer.

How many times were our linemen blocking each other because they're legally blind?

Think of how much better we would have been over the past years if our guys could see.

Whoever is the team optometrist needs to be fired.

Sharpe was pretty good against some decent pass rushers but he dang sure had a laziness problem at times in his training and in games. He will probably do like other Gators before him and finally get serious now that money is on the table and miraculously improve overnight.

He was whipped by Barnett up and down the field. Thankfully we never got to see him play against A&M.

There have been times whilst watching the Gators over the last several years when I wished I was blind in both eyes.

I don't know how you are a 5* OL if you are legally blind in one eye. I saw one aritcle/tweet that said he was slow off the snap because he was legally blind in his right eye and couldn't see the ball snap... I mean why is he playing LEFT TACKLE!!!

The rumor is, the coaches thought he just didn't know the alphabet when he failed the eye test.

So Mort is saying that on most plays his foresight wasn't Sharpe?
In fact, that had to have been known early in his life.
There is surgery to fix that, but hardly-bashing contact may contradict surgery 'til he's out of football.
