I’m no cane fan, and the STDs they often bring with them, but Gore was one knee injury away from being on a 4 volt scooter going in to the NFL. His making it as long as he did probably deserves some credit. HOF, not sure. But certainly credit.

I wonder if Gatorjoe is still sitting on that bench? It didn’t look terribly comfortable.

I, too, despise scUM and their horde of Walmart tank top, blinged out, bandwagon miscreant fans.

But Frank Gore demands respect. Not only is he the 3rd all-time NFL rusher, he had the longest career I think of any RB after blowing out his ACL twice in college. He’s one of the toughest guys to ever play the game.

Doering was also there, he was a row ahead of us in the commencement ceremony. Dude is jacked, looked like he could be in the NFL still. His daughter graduated.

Anyone who rushes for 10,000 yards in the NFL should get in. You know who else is on that list? Warrick Dunn.
10,000 is a good cut off. In fact, it’s probably even more difficult going forward. There aren’t gonna be many running backs hitting 10,000 yards anymore.

I agree.

That would mean guys like Gale Sayers and Terrell Davis would need to pay for a ticket to get into the HOF.

Even Derrick Henry, who seems like has been around forever and has a 2,000 yard season, only currently has 9,502 rushing yards and he's about to hit the 30-year-old RB wall.

He will easily pass 10,000 yards this season if he does not get hurt. Henry about to have a very productive year for the Ravens.

Gale Sayers changed how the game is played, so he deserves to be in the HOF. Terrell Davis might not belong.

I wouldn’t say that you HAVE to have 10,000 yards. But I’d say that should be a major barometer. When I looked at it, pretty much everybody over 10,000 yards is an HOF’er.

He might, he might not. Tennessee let him walk for a reason. The dude has a LOT of mileage on him and RB's tend to fall off a cliff at age 30.

Just heard this story from Jr. Apparently Rick felt he was treated poorly after allegedly spending over $1,500. Hmmmm……he spent $1,500…….at Paisanos…..might alcohol be factor somewhere in this story?
