ESPN requests change of 2015 College Football Playoffs Semifinal Dates

The Semifinals are scheduled for New Years Eve, despite the request of ESPN to move them to Saturday the 2nd. I think most people in here will watch no matter when they're played. However, I don't know why the didn't stick New Years Day. I thought it was perfect.

i love how espn declined to comment to espn for the story :lol:

I think New Year's eve is a bad time to have the games. Sure the college football fan will watch the games but you want to attract the people that don't watch the games all the time. The border line fans or people that only watch the big games. It will be hard to get those fans to cancel New Year's plans to watch a football game.
