I also read that while the major countries of the world did not like him and wouldn't vote for him, the smaller countries voted for him because those countries got tons of $$$ while he was president of FIFA. In FIFA elections every country gets one vote.

FIFA is broken. Time to fix it. No reason that Burkina Faso should have the same voting powers as Brazil or the US(which is the number one market in the world even when soccer is the fifth sport).

Qatar paid $1.5 mill per vote. That crap can't happen. At least Russia has some infrastructure to support a WC but Qatar? GTFO here with that middle eastern trash. 80% of soccer monies comes from North America, South America and Europe. They threatened to break off and start their own federation. Blatter is going down. The Swiss will never let him be extradited though. He die alone and shamed with a full bank account.

Let me understand this...he refused to delay the election so he could get re-elected before more support was garnered for his ouster. Then, he resigns a few days later and the same corrupt organization will pick his successor? Yeah, nothing fishy about that at all.
