Former Gator coach Buddy Teevens, a well liked and highly respected assistant under Coach Spurrier, was recently injured when hit by a car, and had his leg amputated. He also suffered injuries to his spinal cord. Spurrier always spoke highly of Teevens, who left UF after the 2001 season to take over Stanford’s program. Most recently, Teevens has turned Dartmouth into a consistent championship contender in the Ivy League. Prayers for him & his family. Discuss.

Tragic story made all the worse by the awful circumstances in which it happened.
