Yes Michigan probably would have won the game still, but within the last minute Mich. MISSED 2 front ends of the bonus and the 2nd free throw leaving 5 points on the floor at a crucial time. Any coach who was mentally into the game would HAVE definitely fouled at least one more time to see if Mich could make a free throw. It is called extending the game for as long as possible. For the same reason none of these coaches teach their players to keep going for uncontested layups when down 3 and still plenty of time remaining are the same JACKA$$ coaches who can;t manage a simple situation such as the one Leonard butchered last nite!

Also barely discussed is their entire last possession. It was a goat rope. You drive hard and go for the quick 2. You don’t run clock ....down 4 ...and shoot a forced 3.

As for the interview. Very appropriate question. An answer would have been an appropriate response. Any answer. Up to and including that we simply screwed up. To act like it was a dumb question was...dumb.

UVA was down 4 points to Louisville with 5 seconds left and WON the game so it IS definitely possible. Poor coaching on his part to just give up like that. Typical Nole.
