Honestly? Every one of the living deserved to die with their piss-poor battle strategy (or more properly: the lack thereof).
I know time wasn't exactly on their side and they weren't able to construct better kill zones...but charging a superior sized enemy force at the outset of the battle with some of your best force multipliers (mounted calvary) and failing to use your ultimate weapon (dragon fire) prior to hostilities breaking out--those were just basic and elemental mistakes. Not to mention the utter nonsense of even being out in the open anyway when you could have just sat behind the walls and make them breach the defenses while you picked them apart from an elevated position.
When the red woman quoted Arya's "dance" instructor I told the Mrses Arya gonna kill the Night King... then she pulled that move from last season and it was what the fck. A Moment of Silence for House Mormont there are now no living Mormont's. Mrs Dougie took more of a lead in our bracket as well calling 3 correct deaths to my one correct death.
I was worried that the episode wouldn't live up to the hype, but I think last night's show was one of the best in the entire series. What an amazing ending!

Unbelievable episode. A masterpiece. For those that are complaining about it, they’re insane. It was an epic rollercoaster of immense proportion. After watching the behind the scenes, I’m still not even sure how they pulled it off. To be able to cohesively and effectively implement that many characters within a storyline in a battle that chaotic is miraculous. Might be the single best episode of a television show I’ve ever seen thus far. Had to rewatch it a few hours later. I’m still stunned.
Arya had to be the one to pull it off. She had been broken down psychologically and physically over the course of years and built back up to be a cold-blooded assassin. She was constantly put in a box and playfully overlooked by her older brothers. Jon was one of the few who really admired and encouraged her fighting spirit. She is probably the most skilled fighter in Westeros at this point. I think she may kill Cersei in the next battle, but it won’t be easy.
