Before that it was Brock Berlin... depends on the type of "leader". Tebow a leader of men gathered guys, Brock Berlin a "leader" of guys who didn't pan out.

It should not come as a surprise that some of these guys are just making "reservations" and have little to no concept of the meaning of the word commitment. It cuts both ways.

Allen has much more of a Tebow or Leak(who you overlooked) quality, imo.

Who cares? He's calling out childish, me-first behavior and setting a general tone for this class. If this comment has any negative impact on a recruit we probably don't land him anyway and m not sure we want him. You can't build something with a bunch of pieces that aren't even sure they want to be a part of the final product.
