Gators can become favorites for SEC East with the following results:

1. Gators beat Missouri in the Swamp...

2. LSU beats Kentucky in Baton Rouge...

3. Razorbacks beat the DAWGS in Little Rock...

Obviously, they would still have to win in Jacksonville!!!!

Number 1 is literally the only one we need to worry about. Uk--while improved--won't win out. I don't care about uga. Sure I want them to lose, as always. But we don't need anything from them.

The only thing we don't control is the 2nd loss to Kentucky. The rest is in our hands

And the beat goes on...

Just hoping that by next week, we're not seeing posts starting with, "Ok, here's what we need..."

This reminds me of some of those standardized tests they used to give in University College back in time. Select A if 1 and 3 are true. Select B if 1 and 2 are true. Select C if 2 and 3 are true. Select D if 1, 2 and 3 are true. Select E if none are true.

Well, it does appear that the juggernaut of the SEC, UK, is going to lose.

Damn, I guess I believed the Pumpers when they said we didn't suck, it was just that UK had improved drastically.

We could still win the East, technically...

(1) win out, end up with 3 conf losses
(2) UGA loses one more besides to us (Barn perhaps), ends up with three conf losses
(3) Mizzou loses 3 of last 5 conf games (VU, UK, @A&M, @UT, ARK), ends up with 4 losses
(4) UK lose one more conf game

So, we aren't mathematically done, meaning Foley will keep Dunce around.

How screwed up will it be if we did at least win out in conf somehow, then Foley would be second-guessed galore for waiting to fire him.

But like I said, since mathematically we are still in it, Dunce will stay now.

So… you're saying there's a chance?

If they fire Dunce tonight or tomorrow, let Roper take over without being overruled, and a bye week to work with, who knows? The team likely would rally around Harris.

If we won out in our SEC games we probably would win the East at 5-3 but hell will freeze over before that happens it appears.

This is all I needed to hear. Just bought two tickets to Atlanta with an option for Arlington.
