Is he a bum yet?
just petulant and childish.........but give it time........offseason is a mutha ........but at least we have morphed from the new coach is a bum and cannot recruit worth a shT and didnt do sh#T at MSU.............Is he a bum yet?
/sarcasmWhy would he be he is an all-time Gator and an all time NFL player.
Might be the best Gator Running back ever and top 5 NFL running back ever (personally #3).... nothing bum about that.
It's so strange you're so upset that Emmitt has a grudge against UF. Does it keep you up at night?just petulant and childish.........but give it time........offseason is a mutha ........but at least we have morphed from the new coach is a bum and cannot recruit worth a shT and didnt do sh#T at MSU.............
Bonus Question: what was the most repeated phrase during Emmitt's 3 years at UF during a game.
The secondary phrase was usually : There he goes............
Emmitt has a grudge against UF? Had no idea. I thought he was a gator great.......with his name on the Ring of Honor........It's so strange you're so upset that Emmitt has a grudge against UF. Does it keep you up at night?
That changed quickly after he burned Al-ah-fu*%ing-Bama for 200 yards . In Alabama.I followed Emmitts high school career the only way you could in the early 80's the newspaper and you know yourself there was plenty.
I went to fan day his freshman year and while the fans were lined up the entire length of the field my sister's included to see Kerwin, Emmitt was on the 30 yard line without a person around, it had to be a little humbling I'm sure.
I can't think another reason he left UF out of his hall of fame speech, hell he even give thanks to his H.S. coach............Maybe Emmits reading this and welcome clean. It's so strange you're so upset that Emmitt has a grudge against UF. Does it keep you up at night?
I just don’t think he’s all that fond of his time at UF...for reasons unknown. Many of you have cited the HOF speech to deduce he has a grudge against UF and yet the only reason offered so far for having a grudge was a guess at Spurrier. This is a wild goose chase.
Im in!I've read two "connected" accounts that point to a strained relationship with Foley. Wouldn't it please everyone if we just heaped it on top of everything else already on Foley?
.Im in!
But Ive never heard of anything like that.
Are you drunk? He IS a Gator great, who said he wasn't? But he still has a grudge against UF.Emmitt has a grudge against UF? Had no idea. I thought he was a gator great.......with his name on the Ring of Honor........
btw that bonus question answer was "give it to Emmitt"
Ok give my another reason he never mentioned Florida, just forgot, No Florida is not important enough for him to mention ,the only answer. Many of you have cited the HOF speech to deduce he has a grudge against UF and yet the only reason offered so far for having a grudge was a guess at Spurrier. This is a wild goose chase.
We'll be overrun with statues in a few years. Everyone will have a statue. There'll even be one of Foley in a pensive pose.Ok give my another reason he never mentioned Florida, just forgot, No Florida is not important enough for him to mention ,the only answer.
I think a statue might help him love us again.
Most on here aren’t inventing the Emmitt grudge or him suggesting he’d be better off if (perhaps not wishing) he went elsewhere (Auburn, not Bama). Here’s the context:Emmitt has a grudge against UF? Had no idea. I thought he was a gator great.......with his name on the Ring of Honor........
btw that bonus question answer was "give it to Emmitt"
FWIW Larry Guest became one of those that SOS had nothing to do with. Now I can see why.February 3, 1993|By Larry Guest of The Sentinel Staff
Pardon me, your E-ness, but UFlorida doesn't deserve the damaging backhand rendered by Cowboys star Emmitt Smith during Super Week. In one of the player interview sessions, Smith told Florida Today's Pete Kerasotis and several others with tape recorders he regretted going to Florida, suggesting he might have won the national title or a Heisman Trophy at run-oriented Auburn and lamenting a batch of letters with racial epithets from Gator fans when he left UF a year early.
