Ever thought about staining that fence?
Hell just sweep the concrete
Nope....I going to put up an 8 foot vinyl privacy fence once I get all the trees cut down on that side of the property....
Yeah, you’re gonna regret that.
Don't want to derail thread but please explain why? I hate trees especially Laurel Oaks which cover about 97% of the entire Orlando/Belle Isle area where I live....The leaves and pollen make the area almost uninhabitable at times.....They f vck up my cars continuously, harbor endless populations of rodents, squirrels, snakes and spiders, cause excessive black mold and mildew growth due to shading and my 10 year old son can't even go outdoors at times because of his allergy's.....I'd burn every livin' one of the SOB's to the ground if it were up to me.....Scrubs give off just as much oxygen are 10x more attractive any day of the week......Plus they don't fall through your roof, fence or pool enclosure whenever there is a TS or Hurricane.....
I was talking about the vinyl fence.
They don't rot or fade, have lifetime warranties, and color match the house....one side of the property already has one and it looks great.
They do fade. Not sure what saleman sold you on that but he was right about not rotting. They probe to build up mildew, algae or mold (something I would think is common in your climate. They expand and contract as temperatures fluctuate. They can become very brittle in colder temperatures causes breakage (something maybe not as big a deal in your climate). But hey, I ain’t trying to change your mind, it’s already made up.
We've had one for almost 15 years now....Looks as good as new.
They can build up mildew and crap overtime, particularly if certain plants are very close to them. My neighbor has them, I am looking at them right now lol. That said, they are easy to clean and even minimal upkeep will keep them looking good.
You're right. I'm just making shît up. Carry on.
Sure they get a little mildew and ours has some chalky spots from the direct UV but it sure beats the hell out of playing pick up the popsicle sticks every time we get a TS or Hurricane and the 15 year old vinyl fence of ours looks 10x better than the 10 year old wooden one at this point.....
I like the look of old weathered wood fence, if it’s been stained first.
Their bamboo garden is awesome. I always loved walking through.
Try playing around with this. http://floridayards.org/fyplants/
Japanese Maples are nice. Not sure how they'd grow in your neck of the woods, but they look good in the yards up here in the panhandle. Keeping with the oriental theme, Japanese Magnolias are beautiful and bloom early.
