Wow, looking at the group of 5 numbers explains why they love the million dollar paydays playing the big boys.

Simply tossing gross numbers into a list fails to take into account the sources of revenue. I want to know where it came from, and esp to the extent of apparel and merchandise since they’ve changed the landscape.

When we were with Nike we didnt receive payments, just free merchandise for the teams. Probably the same with Jumpman.
Alabama probably receives millions and free merchandise. Thanks Foley.

Sounds like a great project for you to research. Let us know what you find.

Interesting that Texas was #1 and Texas A&M didn't even make the top 15. I know they were #1 a few years ago because they had raised a ton of money for their facilities.

Also, for the "the players should be paid" crowd - how does a program like Troy, Ohio, Eastern Michigan, or Southern Miss pay their players and still stay in business?

A real head scratcher when stood next to UCLA’s quarter-billion deal with Under Armour. What gives them that much more leverage with their brand?

I'm not. I think they just posted what was published by the NCAA. I posted right after my last post (to you) about how Texas A&M was #1 a few years ago - and that was likely due to fund raising for their upgraded facilities. I suspect UGA had something similar happen as their revenue is $123m vs. $85m to ours.

My guess would be Tealer doing the negotiating.

Bingo. Separate the sources into fixed recurring and special circumstances. See where the real differences lie.

Probably wouldn’t have hurt if more of our games had fallen in the 3:30 p.m. CBS time slot instead of noon on SECN.

Very interesting that Texas, ND, UGA, and Michigan make ALL this money AND YET can't do anything with it.

They have great fan bases, plus the B10 tv deal is incredible (in Michigan's case). Only one team can win the national title every year.....

14th and not even top 5 in the SEC? That's completely unacceptable. I'm freakin pissed. Who needs to die?

As you can see by the numbers, some programs will be shut down if there is no college football in 2020. Way too much of a loss of money to keep these programs afloat.

Really disappointing to see UGA $38m ahead of us, not to mention several other SEC schools in front of us, too. 14th on the list is unacceptable!
