In the article it says he is the 210th overall prospect. Seems low for a consensus 4-star.

Hope he has a big year and moves up. It's odd. He's one of the top QBs in FL though just not nationally ranked for some reason. That will hopefully change.

Could be that those ranking him see that he's throwing to Sam Bruce, Mike Irvin Jr. (Miami commits) and Trevon Grimes (5*). Also, there was another WR on the team Dom Thieman (3*), who signed with Illinois. That's some pretty good receiving talent for one HS team.

True, but he also is going to the Elite 11 which shows he has more skills than just throwing it up in the air, plus, he is probably making them look good also. When you have a QB who can find the open receiver and throw an accurate ball the receivers benefit.

I don't disagree, just trying to come up with reasons why he isn't ranked higher.

Grimes is a beast. He gets open easily, and takes the ball away when he's not. That being said, Allen's film is solid and he should move up the rankings with a good senior year.

He's probably under ranked because of the team around him.....The flip side of that is Allen and his team are usually playing better competition than a lot of the guys ranked ahead of him.
