Howdy GatorChatter,

Long time lurker, rare poster. I have some tidbits into Mr. Crableg's Deposition in the rape case, which occurred last week, and I would like to provide some info instead for this board instead of just reading it.

I've decided to get an advanced degree from the University of Miami (Wife and I work in South Florida so I couldn't get back to Hogtown). We were required to go to some mandatory Title 9 speech. Fortunately, the speaker was Baine Kerr, one of the attorney's who sued FSU and Jameis himself. (Ox, think we can give him honorary hall of fame status?).

He didn't share many details that have not been discussed ad nauseam, but he did provide these nuggets. During the time period when Jimbo, Tally PD, FSU PD, and the athletic administration were calling each other to put the kabosh on the investigation, he said there were two calls from an associate athletic director to a Nole booster club. He believes, but can't prove, that the purpose of this phone call was to provide Jameis with the funds necessary to pay for his defense.

On a funnier note: during Winston's deposition, Jameis stated that he and Chris Casher (the P.O.S. who filmed the rape, then destroyed his phone) liked to watch each other have sex. Jameis said it was like watching porno, but in real life. These two Rhode Scholars and fine gentleman also liked to "run a train" on girls also.

Jameis also admitted that he had sex with approximately 50 girls while at FSU, none of whose name he can remember and never saw any girl after the "first date".

Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to speak one-on-one with Mr. Kerr. However, it was obvious that his disdain for FSU goes beyond the normal animosity an attorney has for an opposing party.

Uggghhhh....Why did my Bucs have to draft this skid mark on the underwear of life!?

Welcome Alumni Guy.

Wait! Stop! Don't spend your hard earned money on an advanced degree from UM, especially law school if that's what you're thinking! At UM prices, you'll be paying them for the rest of your life. Take it from me, I learned the hard way....

Oh, and get an avatar. DISREGARD that - it appears you now have one (or maybe already did). But don't disregard the first piece of advice.

Rare poster? How about never posted? Or maybe Longtime listener, first time caller.
I had posted before the new format was changed and reset everyone's post count. Unless I have insight (which I never do except for today), I don't really post. Opinions are like @$$holes, we all have one: and they all stink.

And Lighthouse, Tuition at UM ain't no joke. Hell, I can't even get a cheap beer.

But, but, but, what about his oh so wholesome high school girlfriend that comes out to counteract the negative publicity whenever they need a promo of him as a committed loving partner?

Sound to me like the scumbag is bragging about how many women he thinks he's probably raped while at FSU.

Absolutely no moral compass at all. None. A great role model for America's youth.

By the way, this is not normal. The thought of watching one of my friends have sex makes me want to puke.

Was Jameis under oath when he claimed sex with about 50 girls ? So many of those were first date only
that he didn't remember names... surely he hasn't forgotten his sister's name.?? Anyway, how many were
girls who wouldn't date him again because he forced sex on them (rape) ?

Now that he thinks he's too rich/famous to be jammed up by the law, a deposition may reveal something
prosecutable ?

I heard he has ask for James Comey to head the prosecution because young Jameis was careless with his
fe-mail.

Another tidbit that just came to my mind is he Subpoenaed the Bucs to see what they knew about the rape allegations. As of today, he had not received that discovery, but should be received soon. If my Bucs went FSU and turned a blind-eye, I'm officially a jags fan.

In a bit of tragic Irony, Dirk Koetter is not clean of the title IX controversy. When he was head coach at University of Arizona, he successfully lobbied to rescind Darnell Henderson's (football player under Koetter) expulsion after he groped some girls.

"When confronted over his misconduct [groping the girls], Henderson told an ASU official that he wanted women to fear him and that it was important for him to "show them their place."

After Henderson was reinstated, he raped a female student.

Way to go Coach!

So does anyone know the status of the ongoing potential lawsuits re: Rapeis?

I'm aware that FSU has settled theirs for $750K(?).

What about Rapeis personally? Has complainant filed suit against him? Does anyone know if a settlement was reached?

Then there is the big suit for big $$$ - against TPD. Does anyone know the status of this?
