That's really the point of this. Deepfakes or whatever name you want to call it basically makes it possible for programmers to create content out of thin air. Imagine if this wasn't J-Law and weird Steve, but instead the face of the POTUS overlayed on some actor who is saying whatever crazy thing they want the POTUS to say. Below is a video from a few years ago, and the tech keeps getting "better," if that's what you want to call it. Strange days ahead.
