What the hell is that? What did he do that was special? Hell they nearly lost to vandy.

Hopefully Notre Dame ****ed up enough in the playoffs that the media will realize that program is a joke.

When the best coaches in college football are discussed, Kelly's name never comes up. Ever. Hell, I even completely forget he coaches Notre Dame and I think that's a theme among college football fans. His existence never crosses our minds.

He's useless......and is therefore perfect for that team.

Mullen should have won that award. 4-7 to 9-3 is far more impressive than a 12-0 season (which was the expectation) with no conference championship game possible.

Others garnering votes (hold the laughs).

2. Saban
3. Heupel
4. Leach
5. Babers

Seriously, Leach and Babers got more votes than Mullen? What a joke.

Huh, Only Mullen & Satan won two games against top 5 teams. Did UCF even play a team in the top 25? Wash st? Syracuse's best game was a loss to Clempson.

Good take. Definitely subjective. I tend to look at COY in relative terms. Saban's got a loaded roster. Was anyone not expecting him to run the table?

Leach and Babers are just bad picks, period.

Syracuse plays in the ACC. That's enough for me.

Babers is a hell of a coach. I love that Mullen is here but if he wasn’t that’s the coach I’d want here.

Leach and Babers put together really good seasons at pretty bad programs. They are both reasonable picks.

Leach does deserve some accolades -
He inherited a well traveled Minshew, who had to learn a new system after that awful suicide of their returning QB Hilinski.
To do what they did overall wasn't too shabby.
--------

Babers is entertaining and beat the circus peanuts out of the clowns - 30-7.
They won 10 games for the first time since 2001...

But relative to ours? We turned it around in the toughest conference.

Mullen and Stoops both would be reasonable picks too, absolutely. Getting 9+ wins at UK is a big deal IMHO. But of UF, UK, WSU, and Syracuse, UF has the most talented roster, so a neutral observer might see that as less impressive.
