I am not willing to sell my soul or integrity to bring the sleaze ball Kiffin here. I'd have to stop supporting Gator football if he is hired.

Not saying I want him here, but I imagine quite a few Bammers had the same sentiment about 5 months ago. Not so much now. If a coach can keep on a leash, he's shown he can serve his purpose. Typing this last sentence left me with an image of Satan riding Kiffy bareback in a dark dingy basement hollering "Gitty up, little Kiffy! Gitty Up! Make the horsey noise again!"

I think I need therapy now...

I'm quite certain I do as well. Might have to wash my frontal lobe with bleach even.

There is a lot of untapped money in the USF system, and depending on the vaguiness of what is going on at UF. It might be worth the stablity.

They're not going to pay a coordinator 600k.

Transition year is the most hectic and difficult, which is why it makes sense for McElwain to take on as many of the defensive assistants as possible, esp considering how many returning starters. On offense, maybe not such a big deal since he'll be integrally involved in the game planning.

I will no longer make fun of anyone who says Boom is an agent from UGA. Gave him his first head coaching job with a pricey extension and now he's going back to a DC role and taking UF's best recruiter with him. Not to mention what we watched for the past few years save 2012. Thanks Boom.

You don't think being promoted to co defensive coordinator would keep him? He's also going to be working 3 nfl corners and a nfl safety. I think we have a decent shot at keeping him

I think he even went back and got his degree. Champ to go head to head w/ Saban yearly. Wow.

So Muschamp must not have interviewed well enough to get the Houston job. Shocker.
Nah, he just "withdrew his name from consideration". Just like he "stepped down" as Florida coach.
