Heard Blur on the radio the other day, and had a few other ones come to mind.

Blur- Song 2
Spacehog- In the meantime
Counting blue cars- Dishwala

Many years ago my ringtone was ''Sex and Candy'' by Marcy Playground.

I'm :eek:ldman: so I don't know the first three, but I do know Sex and Candy (I actually have that MP CD).

I enjoyed the ringtone until one day I got a call from Mom. After that I went with something else.

I actually broke my hand while in a mosh pit at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival back around 96 while they were playing this song. Don't ask me how a pit got started at that show and that venue but, at the time, I was not one to turn down a chance at throwing my body around with reckless disregard. After the song was over, I walked back to my friends and fiancée, out of breath. My fiancée went to hold my hand and she noticed that my hand was swelled like a balloon. I didn't feel much until the next day. Hairline fracture in my metcarpal. Luckily, it was my right hand.

Kind of depends on your frame of reference (translated: :eek:ldman:
Seems like the '70s had some of the "best" ones.

Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods - Best 70's outfits IMO with collars that should have had their own elevation sign:

Paper Lace - sounding excellent live :

And the androgenous 2 hit wonder Sweet (I am going to scour the Goodwills and Salvation Armies for the Bass players' outfit):

Enjoy - you young whippersnappers
Now get off my lawn!

Wow. Hard to imagine a ruckus breaking out to a song from Dishwala. Sorry to hear about your hand, but the main thing I got from this post is that you're a lefty:thumbup:

Closing time is a classic. Saw Default live once , and they weren't too bad.

Blur is the antithesis of being a one-hit wonder.
