Holy cow, how much do you drink??? I've never experienced that.Diluted gatorade. Too much straight G will give you diarrhea.
I don’t think the rum ever stops flowing with him. Oh wait, Gatorade....Holy cow, how much do you drink??? I've never experienced that.
Good luck! Get well. And regardless of what Trump says, don't drink any Lysol!Been sick as a damn dog since Thursday.
Went to VA hospital Saturday.
Test came back positive today.
Time to fight like the 3rd monkey on the ramp to the Ark.
@Marine1 - I’m interested if you are in high risk categories...age, underlying conditions, smoker, etc?
Its not and you shouldnt so long as you don't live in the New York City metro area.
At the VA, they arent going to lock you away in a room away from your family and let you live or die.
there a lot of people dying though because they're afraid to get medical help. Things like dehydration and secondary respiratory infections CAN be treated, usually easily. Too many are afraid of the hospital in the horrors that are going on there at some and waiting until they are in or near respiratory failure before they go to the hospital. Then it is often too late.
Yes 62 with several underlying conditions although ive never smoked. I suspected I could have complications if I got the virus.
Maybe he adds too much rum to his Gatorade???I don’t think the rum ever stops flowing with him. Oh wait, Gatorade....
Ive been in the desert when guys had Gatorade and the water wasn't the best. If you have more than 1 or 2 a day, the runs follow.Holy cow, how much do you drink??? I've never experienced that.
My VA has always been great and was stellar throughout. I had a TeleMed nurse call per day and a video call with my doctor every morning. Day 11/12 I was almost ready to check in but I did resist. Luckily several days later is when I felt a turn in the right direction.
@Marine1 I’ve seen you posting elsewhere on the board so.... you GTG now? Decided it wasn’t quite time to guard the gates of Heaven yet?
Care to give an AAR on the whole ordeal?
Glad to hear you’re doing better. We’ve been worried about you, brother!I retested last Thursday and yesterday my results came back still positive. I feel much better but very tired. I have none of the previous symptoms other than some shortness of breath. I have some appointments set up later in the week With my doctor and hopefully another retest.
Short story is simply it was a horrible experience. I was lucky that while I eventually had every symptom.....I got them one at a time. First was insane chills, then very high fevers and headaches, then non-stop coughing and the shortness of breath. Always completely wore out but could not sleep due to whatever symptom was fvvcking with me. Twice I went at least 3 days without eating a bite of food. I drank a ton of liquids and took a lot of Tylenol. I also had some stronger prescription cough syrup which was a tremendous help. I tried to sit out in the sun a bit and would walk around the house just trying to be somewhat active. At one point they wanted to admit me to the hospital but I had a real mental block with that. Luckily just a couple days later is when I started to turn the corner.
I’m not going to lie. It scared the hell out of me. But hopefully I’m close to putting this to bed now. It’s day 27 today so it’s been a helluva run.
