Recruiting National Signing Day, how will we do? What do we still need?

I notice no one here mentions Sorrell at all recently either on this thread or in the recruiting thread that I have seen. I thought I read this staff has visited with him this fall?

We don't seem to have interest in him. No one except desperate teams do.

I'm not sure what it is, but there is something there I'd guess.

Everything I have seen and read says is we don’t want him. Apparently no one in Florida wants him either

I am leaning towards the grades angle. He basically has not visited anyone officially yet. That usually smacks of grades. All that is missing is listing West Virginia or Louisville as possible desitination to scream grades.

I've I always been told DL were not the brightest lights in the stadium.

Kevin Carter, Huey Richardson, Brad Culpepper and Trace Armstrong beg to differ. And they are just guys who played DL and by various public accomplishments we know are reasonably smart. Certainly not all football players at any position are necessarily scholars, but UF has had it fair share of decently smart and not so smart defensive linemen.

I don't follow recruiting so I don't know what we need, but if the question is who should we convince to leave, that would be either nobody or anybody who wants to go.

I want students that want to be Gators and compete for their position.
