Was tired of paying for storage and needed more room to re-start my restoration channel and perhaps start a 3D printing channel. Ordered a 20x10 prefab barn workshop for the backyard and got it delivered.

First thing I did was add a couple of solar panels to the roof, as I'd like to be able to at least climate control the thing without paying the bill for it.

I then added a window A/C unit to the rear window and spray foamed the damn thing, which was really fun in the Florida heat, I can tell you.

I needed some wall coverings, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Also, I wanted a "rustic" look. Locally I found this place that recycled pallets, and they sold pallets of pallet boards, 500 of them, for $100 bucks. I had them load a pallet into the back of my truck.

Then I started nailing....and nailing....and nailing. Keep in mind this is the lowest quality wood you can find, every damn piece is different from the other. Some wider, some longer, some thinner, some wavy.

Whatcha gonna do on the ceiling? My next door neighbor used pallet wood to cover the ceiling in an addition to his house. It looks great. So does yours.

Also, are the solar panels really going to provide enough power for the AC and anything else you might want to use?

Ox- this should be an HGTV show.

Or a side business setting these up for your neighbors

I'm looking for that scene from Family Guy where Lois steps out and Peter accesses his secret underground bunker fapping lair.
