Davis should end up pretty good. They mention tackling but I thought his weakest spot was when he had to cover someone. He seemed to get lost at times and was slow to react.

I hope our defense is as good as some writers think it will be this season.

I think that is a product of us playing so much nickel the last 3 years. From the 6th or 7th game on last year I don't remember seeing him play more that one step off the LOS....It was good for him statistically because of all the tackles he made but may hinder his development in coverage. I've said it before but we haven't had a LBer who could cover since Jelani Jenkins left...

Davis has become one of my favorite Gator LB"s of all-time because of his work ethic and you never hear about any of the off-the-field bullsh*t with him. Dude just keeps working his ass off trying to become GREAT,I love that!!!
