NavetG8r;n111230 said:Counting on a bowl game at this point is a bit premature imo. We have 9-2 EKU Saturday, then the undefeated defending national champions to face the following week. A bowl is no sure thing at this point. Should we beat 9-2 EKU? Hell yes we should. UF should NEVER, EVER expect to lose to an EKU, but we just fired our head coach (right thing to do), the UF football team is pissed off about it, and you never know what kind of performance you're going to get out of a bunch of angry young men. They could completely destroy EKU, or they could be so preoccupied they can't even execute the most simple of fundamentals. We have no clue which team will walk out on the field the next two weeks. I suggest everyone curb their expectations and be thrilled to unexpected levels of joy with a win against either of the next two teams we face because a win against either will be damn near a miracle at this point. Try to remember being 18-22 years old and how clear and focused your head was if you were upset about something.
Not trying to be a Debbie downer, just trying to point out that it might be good for our sanity as fans to keep things in perspective.

You don't believe that at all, do you?LagoonGator68;n111596 said:Pressure is off, wraps come off the offense. Harris throws for 6 TD's and 400 yds. Runs for 5. Gators win 88-0.

Can we have a board-wide agreement to never say the words Georgia Southern again once the new coach takes over?Jbossgator8;111641 said:What are we favored by? What are the chances this is a repeat of last year vs Georgia Southern???

A day that will live in infamy for the WM era. The eagel's name is Freedom, btw.
But yes, this passes with WM- but alas, he is still here and will be coaching this game.
