He only needs 250 yards to break a 1000. That is possible in the next two games, very possible if you include the bowl game.
meh

Muschamp can always set another record as Gator coach

But does it count since he's been fired already?:scratchchin:

Yes since he should have just moved on and let one of the assistants coach the last couple of games.

Counting on a bowl game at this point is a bit premature imo. We have 9-2 EKU Saturday, then the undefeated defending national champions to face the following week. A bowl is no sure thing at this point. Should we beat 9-2 EKU? Hell yes we should. UF should NEVER, EVER expect to lose to an EKU, but we just fired our head coach (right thing to do), the UF football team is pissed off about it, and you never know what kind of performance you're going to get out of a bunch of angry young men. They could completely destroy EKU, or they could be so preoccupied they can't even execute the most simple of fundamentals. We have no clue which team will walk out on the field the next two weeks. I suggest everyone curb their expectations and be thrilled to unexpected levels of joy with a win against either of the next two teams we face because a win against either will be damn near a miracle at this point. Try to remember being 18-22 years old and how clear and focused your head was if you were upset about something.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer, just trying to point out that it might be good for our sanity as fans to keep things in perspective.

We will beat EKU easily and then be eligible for a crappy bowl game.

It will be nice to talk about the game on the field instead of the coach off the field

The problem is he's still going to be there. I'm sure his name will come up.

Pressure is off, wraps come off the offense. Harris throws for 6 TD's and 400 yds. Runs for 5. Gators win 88-0.

At this point I am not sure what team will show up on Saturday. Many will be audtioning for the new staff. The current staff will be audtioning for new jobs. Will they tank it or will they throttle EKU? Who knows. There is no reason that UF loses but we have said that alot over the last four years.

I don't believe we'll score 50 points running the ball 60 times. Even against EKU.

Can we have a board-wide agreement to never say the words Georgia Southern again once the new coach takes over?

I hope to never mention a certain Dawg once the new coach arrives. Hell, I'd love to never hear his voice again and never hear his name under any circumstance.

A day that will live in infamy for the WM era. The eagel's name is Freedom, btw.

But yes, this passes with WM- but alas, he is still here and will be coaching this game.

And some of you wonder why we hate Mushchimp. A 1AA team celebrating on our damn field.
