Ok folks, Mizzou is done, as next week is probably our last game of the year, , lets post the 5 things Dan must do to lose.
1. Show up
2. Same game plan as this week.
3. Be more conservative,
4. Don t play the other QB, hes busy packing his bags anyway.
5. Status Quo with special teams.

I believe if theres no announcement about Dan by Mon next, we get another year of him, welcome to 1979 friends.

PS Does anybody remember that great radio show out of Athens, Leonards losers? I never missed it, and got his news letter and taped show, I met him before he died, a real Dog if ever their was one.

I suspect I know the answers, but where are the players mentally right now? Is it let’s just get this schitt over with? Or is it they want to go out with a win (especially the seniors)? Outside of the 5th and 6th year guys, none of them have ever lost to FSU; does that mean anything to them? Will the fact that for many of them it’s their last game in the Swamp mean anything? In Samford game, it seemed the O cared and the D didn’t; yesterday was the opposite. What will be the case against the clowns?
I do know one thing: the clowns will be motivated. They are playing with pride and desire down the stretch and this game will mean a lot to them.

Good post and more about Leonard's Losers later. Your check list is absolutely what I expect from our "genius for the ages" HC. But there is one disconcerting thought that you did not touch on, so I will. After watching the way FSU, a young, very average ACC team talent-wise, played against some decent teams this year, I'm not sure we can beat these guys even if Mullethead doesn't schytt the bed 10 or 12 times - which he will undoubtedly do. They actually have some decent talent here and there and Norville is not a terrible gameday coach. The Mullet, most assuredly, is.

I lived and worked in Metro Atlanta from '80 to '93. I remember well the LL "picks" and the funny as hell, cornpone schtick he ran. Living there among the heathens was a misery for 9 long years - the last 4 years not quite so much. Thank you Steve Spurrier! Incidentally, I produced quite a few radio and TV spots for the Metro area during those years, and I once wrote and casted a spot created especially for Larry Munson. We had a great time working together and he mentioned that he thought Spurrier was the "one" we had been waiting for to take us to the next level. How right he turned out to be.
