Well what a difference a week makes concerning Vanderbilt. They started out beating Middle Tennessee and then Alabama A & M. Meh. Then they beat Kansas State 14 - 7 so hey maybe they are decent. The debacle at home against Alabama showed us that they are the same old Vanderbilt they're not very good again. Not diddly squat at Dudley Field so how are they going to do on the road at the Swamp.
We tend to play down to their level when we play them and Vanderbilt plays fired up when they play us. This makes the game a lot closer than people expect. That's the thing about Saban. He can usually, that's usually, get his team up to play the teams that have no chance of beating Alabama whereas a lot of other teams in the SEC, including UF, plays down to the level of their opponents. The 0 and 5 U Mass Minutemen took Tennessee to the wire this past Saturday. Can you believe some teams have played 5 games already this season.
We are back at home. We should win by at least two touchdowns. But we need to knock them out early.
