He's a Brantley family pissing match away from making us unstoppable.

[QUOTE='78;n264871]And all I see is shades of 2009 for Urban Meyer, which, frankly, I think is dangerous territory for him. Meyer's at his best climbing the mountain, not necessarily remaining camped out on top of it. It'll be interesting to see how he handles the weight of expectation. He didn't do so well with it the last time he found himself in this position.

Yeah, going 13-1 with your only loss to the champs was a terrible year.

Describe to me how well he managed his emotions as the year wore on. Yep, that was the point.

If he quit OSU, he'd just go win a NC with Notre Dame within 3 years. He may just travel around the country, winning titles for different programs.

I'd add a return to Florida to that list. We could use some of that upwardly mobile mojo around here.

Eating cold pizza by yourself sitting on a golf cart sucks whether you are in Gainesville or Columbus. Not good for gastritis either.

They're gonna go run through that schedule. They'll be in the playoffs. I'll be shocked if they don't go back to back. It's depressing really. Maybe tcu could knock em off but with that schedule , they really only have to be up for 2 games and those games are the playoffs.

Don't lie, you have a stuffed Urban Meyer teddy bear you sleep with every night, don't you?

Don't expect meyer to crumble anytime soon. He's looking at a steady diet of easy schedules every year, thanks to the big 10ish. The only real chance meyer starts to develop and ulcer is if harbaugh hangs around meatchicken for more than 2-3 years.

I think he meant the overdosing on sleep medications and laying in the floor holding your chest while your wife calls 911 part, not the 13-1 part.

He can flop around like a fish at midfield if he gives us 13-1.

Personal and health issues aside, Urban Meyer is a great cfb coach, maybe the most successful ever. He brought 2 NC's to Gainesville and made my trips to BHG a lot of fun back in his day. I have nothing bad to say about the man.
