It's not too hard to size up where someone's head level is when swinging an elbow with malicious intent. But I agree completely that he has paid his dues by the ejection from the game and now missing the game today. I'm sure he doesn't feel great about it and is ready to get back to work helping his teammates, coaches and fans.I watched the clip. Three times the announcer mentions they were “fighting” in the moments that preceded the hit. I don’t think Payne had any clue what he’d be striking and was definitely taking a blind shot in retaliation. Still out of bounds, imo, so probably warranted a suspension of some type, which he served, in a tournament setting. Beyond that would be overkill, and I think he’s officially back for Sunday. I’m chalking this up as one of the few things White has handled correctly.
Technically it did he's a senior?Ended his career? Really? From an elbow? Ok francis...
he's a SophmoreTechnically it did he's a senior?
I still think he deserved a one game suspension. I don't think he's dirty we've all done things like that playing sports in the heat of the moment.
He meant Fulkerson is a senior. But the ncaa is letting seniors come back, and Fulkerson has talked about returning.he's a Sophmore

Any residual damages lingering on Fulkerson after the game?
This was kinda my thought; it’s just a Vol. It’s like elbowing a Null or a dwag, isn’t it?No, he's a Vol and brain damaged to begin with.
he might of saved our year because the refs might actually blow the whistle... Tired of the no calls ... can't believe you have to elbow someone to get the attention of the refs.Fulkerson was hooking and holding all game. I said early in the first half that someone needed to "take him out", but was surprised when Omar did it. Castleton seemed a bit intimidated by Fulkerson. Fulkerson was intimidated by Jitoboh. Jitoboh should have been instructed to "get physical" with Fulkerson, though not to the extent of knocking him out of the game, just to get Fulkerson to cut back on his own dirty play.
The less physically talented the player, the more they rely on questionable tactics.Fulkerson was hooking and holding all game. ICU the last I read.
This would explain why, in my B-ball playing days, my biggest stat was number of fouls committed. The less physically talented the player, the more they rely on questionable tactics.
