2009 - Tebow's last game in The Swamp and a 37-10 drubbing of the :nole:s.
Plan to be there this year for the Vandy game, bringing the boy for his first game in The Swamp.

May - Mother's Day weekend.
I was close on Memorial Day Weekend, but did not make it into town.
My mom and brothers live about 15 miles north (Brooker, has a G-ville phone exchange) and went to the boat shop in Hague, but not Title-town.
Likely there again 4th of July weekend too.

2012. Drove from Jax to watch a baseball game against Arky. Unfortunately we lost. However, while tooling there, ran into Bradley Beal. Super nice guy. He'd already declared and was just down to earth.

That fall went to College Station to root is on against the Male Cheerleaders.

Nothing since but due.

Damn. 8 years out from your transplant, that's awesome. Did you have leukemia?

I don't even know what to say to this, other than I hope things turn around for you. Sounds like you deserve a break.

Wow, that sucks. :sadnanner:

Hope the transplant helps your condition. BTW, everybody should sign up to be a bone marrow donor. The procedure isn't that bad and it really can save someone's life.

I have season tickets so I go to Gainesville 5-6 time a year. Never gets old.

21 votes so far and not one person picked the Ham Sammich option. Thank you to everyone for taking my poll seriously. I may have to discontinue abiding by GCMB's unofficial policy having Ham Sammich as a poll option . . .

But Ham Sammich was in a solid second place in the 'Who's your favorite poster' poll and if Ox, Goon, Wobble and a 4th hadn't voted for themselves and voted Ham Sammich instead, it would have been close between "The Field" and Hammy; so I don't think Hammy's ready to go away anytime soon.

I actually signed up 2 days ago. A co-worker's daughter has AML and needs a bone marrow transplant. It's only a simple cheek swab to sign up. They said of those chosen, 80% of the time it's pretty much like giving blood except they are pumping most of your blood back into you. How amazing would it be to save someone's life like that.

I live a county over, too. Satchell's gets me back, either to play there or to eat.
