Didn’t she have surgery recently?

Yes, she did but IIRC it wasn't real recent. She had a pig heart or pig valve. I can't remember. She came through it well and said she felt great but was having a hard time convalescing through the pain. This was a while back and so perhaps this death was something new/different or was a recurrence of that surgery like a rejection of it.

I will miss her as she was an active member and was so nice.

Rest in peace Marie Wiggins Davis, aka DaytonaCane.

Heavy heart this morning to hear this: she was a rare rival poster who could hang here and be loved by all. That's one heck of an accomplishment, but it's a testament to the person and their character.

I never interacted with her here online, but saw alot of her posts and thought, like the rest of you, she wasnt your typical Cane fan and had alot of character. RIP Daytona, you will be missed

I like to laugh at inappropriate things in sad and tough times. I can promise you I rewrote that post a few times. It’s a dark and twisted sense of humor that apparently is highly offensive to some.
