Great effort by SCar. Don't know where they came up with that run the last three weeks, but it was impressive. Happy for Mark Few, he's all class and deserves this breakthrough.

And as a side note, the last three teams left are all in the top 20 of offensive and defensive efficiency ratings on KenPom's site, AND they all won at least one game in their respective conference tourneys (SCar hadn't done either). Those are your two harbingers for national champions, it seems.

Carolina, as it had done all season, mounted another big second-half comeback effort and went up by two at one point late in the game. Down by three with 11 ticks left, I don't know why in the heck you wait for the other team to foul and limit your scoring chance to two. Two Carolina ballhandlers had a chance to launch it from the three, the first guy with a wide-open look, and both tightened up.

Zags, esp up front, are gonna be tough to beat in the final.
