Our offense was just as good through 3 games in 2014 but we are passing for more yards early this season which is a good sign.

Definitely a good sign. Teams will not be able to stack the box which will give the running game some breathing room. And occasionally when a back pops through the line clean there should be good open space to make large gains.

Need to stay away from a ton of bubble screens and dinking it down the field. That shiat won't cut it against better teams. Need some real downfield passing to make their defense cover the whole field.

Just about every team played a cupcake for one of the first two games, so the numbers aren't that skewed. We are a top 10 defense at the moment, but we all knew we would have a good to great D this year.

The question of how far we would go would depend on the offensive numbers. Through the first two games we are ranked the following:

Points per game t-57
Yards per game 44
Total yards 44
passing yards/game 29
rushing yards/game 70 our worse ranking
Total points 55

ok, granted we haven't hit the meat of the SEC defenses, but these are the types numbers (and better) we need to make recruits on this side of the ball want to come here. Also I feel if we can continue to improve each week, even against SEC defenses, we should put up good numbers.

The KY game was a breath of fresh air.

Go Gators

Just like 2014 we ran the numbers up early with some sh*t defenses and a bunch of yards after the catch on screens etc. and then the collapse started when we faced better teams.
