Same caveats as always. I have slightly different DL numbers then the twitter post that was out, however he is definitely missing McClellan who played, and may be counting special teams which I do not. Anyways here goes:
A couple that I figure will raise questions: Diwun's only snap was on the 4th down goal line stop (LB/DL heavy package) and Lingard and Elk's only snap was the last play kneel down.....

Snap count?
It was almost as high as Oklahoma.

I mean, the score was fine but the cast wasn't as good. We'll have to wait on the reviews and box office take. Screenshot_20220905-100213_Firefox.jpg

I'm chuckling about Napier sending in Lingard only for the final kneel-down of the game. Seems like sending a message to me.

Yeah and then he tweeted after the game that he was at the gym working out and that “message was received”. So something has happened that we don’t know about.

Agreed and he was doing well, especially early. You can’t reach his size.
I do think that he basically won’t play against UT though. Either that or he’ll be our designated injury faker to slow tempo (which could work out perfectly).

Maybe he wasn't putting in enough effort before?
So he hits the weight room at midnight and gets to work as a show of, "I got you coach".
I'll assume that til we hear something else I guess.

Seemed to me like Trevor Etienne made more of his 14 snaps than Nay'Quan Wright did with his 22. If you had told me right after the game that the latter was out there for 8 plays more than the former, I would've lost that bet.

Maybe Wright or Lingard will make a surprise move, but Johnson and Etienne are very complementary backs, the classic thunder & lightning changeup combo, and most likely will be the workhorses.

I like Etienne a lot. Even in the wake of a glorious victory, that almost-fumble is what was on his mind. :nono:

Interesting who didn’t get many (or any) snaps. On offense I’m surprised about Whittemore and Braun.

On D, I thought we might see Scooby Williams. Also kinda wondering why Corey Collier has not earned more playing time; was he overrated as a recruit? Also, I coulda sworn I saw Chief Borders on the field, but perhaps it was an ST play.

Apparently he went and worked out after the game around midnight. Said they (staff) were trying to send him a message and he's listening.

Not sure what the message was. You've only done enough work to get one play? Why put him in at all?
