So let me see if I understand this correctly (as I fully admit I am not one of the football experts around here): The defense was getting gashed straight up the middle; play, after play, and the decision was not to play the massive DT Watson who has shown (even against Bama) that he is an immovable force? Was he hurt? What am I missing?

Not sure on his redshirt status, BUT if he was available or even able to be considered...your big nasty is one of the remedies for foiling that play. He would have to take two players to block minimally. You tell him to shoot the gap every play. And if done right, the pulling G and T's would have issues clearing.

But Swonkey said it (likely) and did I mention Grantham is our DC?
