If Franks gets hurt or falls apart, who do we put in?

After watching Zaire against meetchicken, I'm not so sure that it shouldn't be Toney.

It's Zaire IMO. But Franks would have to have a broken leg for that to happen IMO.

Hope we get far enough ahead to try out Trask, try out Trask, try Trask, trTr .....??
Toney can surely get more snaps, but his playbook would have to be severely limited, kinda like Nussmier's playbook is.?

It’d be Trask. I’d rather have Toney if the staff were creative enough to adapt the offense to him, but they’d ask him to be a pocket passer.

Zaire followed by JBoss to ensure we OWN and DESTROY the opponent's secondary.

Zaire is the most probable to be named 2nd string.
A good argument could be made for Toney, as he has a higher upside than Zaire, IMO.
Allen and Trask are no where near ready, especially heading into the thick of the schedule.
Toney will get some playing time regardless, and the opportunity to throw even with Franks healthy.

Should Franks go down though, I could see Toney given the chance to start.

Not a chance Toney starts over Zaire, and for two reasons. He's not a good passer and we need him more running the ball and catching passes.

Because Zaire is a good passer?

What I am saying is Toney could find a way to win the job because he has greater playmaker abilities, in a head to head with Zaire.

Current depth chart though, Zaire probably gets the 2nd string nod.

Didn't say he is. He's marginally better than Treon, but he's still a better option than Toney. And, again, it's almost a matter of addition through subtraction. Toney's needed more at other positions.

It's been 5 weeks. He should have a better grasp of the offense by now.

Then put in packages for Toney. Mix it up.

Oops, forgot, we are Florida 2017. Shame on me for thinking mix it up.
