The conference definitely jumped on board. Trailerbammer's and Barn have never had titles stripped subsequently.

I think Miami turned us in to the NCAA.

Once Dye, Majors, Dooley, Bryant/Perkins saw the NCAA infractions, they all teamed up to strip our SEC titles.

Pell was tough man. I always like him and that '84 game in the Swamp vs. So. Cal. One of the best ever played there.

That game against SoCal was actually in 1982 and it introduced the college football world to Wilbur Marshall.
