Good article. Wasn't McElwain a part of that 2008 cycle? Regardless, he was there early in the building process. I'm not sure why he can't mirror what they did there. I'm not asking for top 2 or 3....just top 10 and top 2 or 3 in the conference.

My wife bought me a Saban book for Christmas because she's heard me b*tch a million times about him being the best CFB coach ever. I'm looking forward to reading it, not looking forward to the Alabama slant though.

I recently finished the Spurrier book written from a South Carolina angle. It was good, but I didn't like the SC angle either.

Top 10 isnt top 2 or 3 in the SEC.

Top 4 or 5 is the minimum to make it back on top.
