I'm not really disagreeing that you don't get homosexuality. I'm just pointing out that the original examples and the examples made after are things people make a cognitive decision to do. Your example is akin to somebody saying "I don't get why people have red hair." The other comments are akin to "I don't get why people date people with red hair."

How about this, let's keep this thread strictly a coming out party. Everybody can say what they don't get, and everybody else take it at face value and refrain from arguing/discussing it. This is not for political discussions. If you want to discuss somebody's "I don't get" topic, go start a thread in the PF about it.

From what I took from the thread, the things you list should be conscious acts/decisions/choices, etc.

That doesn't mean my statement was political. It wasn't and I don't know how you could insert politics into it.
