Tabor on C J Worton

I hope and pray our coaches recognize
Worton's ability. He pretty well won the
8A high state championship on his on. He
was the 'factor'. The 8A state championship
is not far from being equivalent to college
ball. He was exceptional in that game against a great defense.

If Tabor's comment on Worton doesn't
cause the coaches to give him a good
look, what will? I've seen him make some great catches. He's a touchdown about
to happen. I don't want to see us use him
sparingly and then him have a great NFL
career.

If anyone can recognize a hard man to
cover Tabor can. Here are his words:

“We have a lot of threats,” he said. “C.J. Worton can be a threat".

This is hoping we see a lot of number 18
this year.

I don't know why Worton hasn't gotten PT but there has to be a reason. Some underlying reason. Blocking. Effort. Grades. Attitude. Something.

I take serious what Jarrad Davis and Tabor
say. They practice against these guys every day. Both says our offense will be better this year pointing out more weapons. I believe
our OL will be much improved and that is a
biggie. All of the offense depends on that.
What if we have a scoring machine this year.
I believe we will have just that. We are about
to see what Coach Mac can do with a little
more talent. This will be the second year of his system. Every player will know his responsibilities and be much more familiar
and comfortable executing it. I can't wait
until we go to Knoxville and burst their bubble. It will be fire Butch time again. I am
on record saying we're going to have a very
good team this year. That is not the norm
for me. I can see it happening.

Plus....... The Muscramp odor has cleared
out. Coach Mac is the exact opposite of
him. He is a fun coach to play for. The
players will give it all for him. We are about
to find out we have a great coach. And
watch what happens with our next class
of recruits.

I'm gonna have to agree with you here. I'm usually not a pumper myself but I think we're gonna have a heck of a squad this year.

Everything I have read suggests that C.J. Worton determines if C.J. Worton plays more this year.
Muschamp is gone, if a talented guy is not playing it is because of him, not the coaches.

Mac's approach seems similar to mine as a parent...."I have good news and bad news, the good news is that you get to make decisions in your life." "The bad news is that you get to live with the consequences of your decisions."

He's white

. :burn2:

Years ago, I had a patient who made a final good-bye appointment because he was moving to Arizona.
His son had been drafted, as a receiver, by the Arizona Cardinals. His son told him this story about his
first day at CFB practice. The megaphone guy called out the positions to line up here. He lined up with
the WRs and the coach came over to inform him he was in the wrong place -- he was the only white guy.
He must have worked out since he made it to the NFL.

There are plenty of white receivers. Now CB. That's a different story. I can't think of one.

Do you know it to be a fact? Or are you guessing? This is one good kid that comes
from a good family.
There are plenty of good kids, who come from good families, that go off to college and then start partying too much. Yours truly being one of them. And plenty of them mature at different rates. If true, hopefully he has matured now that he's an upper classman. I would love it if he was a surprise impact player this year.
