And CUSA and AAC has better coaches, IMO.

Weird stuff.

Yeah it's kind of true actually. Every coach is on the hot seat in this conference but maybe except Mullen and Smart

I think Stoops is safe. If he keeps getting them to a bowl game, they'll keep him around. Muschamp is safe, only his 2nd year. And Derek Mason is likely safe.

Overall it's a band of misfits. Still a lot of talent in the league (player wise). If some of these programs land a solid coach they could turn around real quick.

UF was very wise to empty the seat earlier than the other SEC schools.

Every single other college with a vacancy, or upcoming one, is impacted by the UF coaching search.

Would Kerwin Bell be a possibility? If I were the UCF AD, I'd at least take a look at the throwin' Mayoan.

If he succeeds there, I can see him retiring there with him being in his 50s

There hasn't been any real innovation since Malzahn in 2010. Just a bunch of Saban wannabes.

We caught lightning in a bottle with Urban Meyer.

It is very easy guys. The SEC has the worst head coaches 1-14 in football of the power 5. The Big 10 had the worst for years and years, which is why it sucked. All of of sudden it gotten much better coaches one by one and the conference got appreciably better. It is not rocket science. The SEC is littered with either glorified high school coaches or just plain garbage!!!

All the more reason to do this now, get a real coach, and kick the living crap out of the East.
