Never been a Kiffin fan… but if the rumors are true… IF he could bring Ogre with him to be a DL/LB coach, and recruiting coordinator, they’d hit the ground running as good as we could possibly hope for. Whoever comes in will have at least 2 very difficult seasons ahead of him with this roster (or whatever remains of it).

What happens after that would be anyone’s guess, because, well… it’s Lane Kiffin.

As I commented in the other thread this is his second time doing this. He was the interim coach for Miss State for their bowl game after Mullen came here. They did win, for whatever that's worth. But a beleaguered fanbase deserved to see The Old Ball Coach on the sideline for FSU.

My fear is that with the extra work loaded on his plate, something will have to give and I suspect ST will be the unit that gets affected. I'll go out on a limb right now and predict no long punt or kick returns for the Gators this week. Probably a missed extra point, a blocked FG, a shanked punt or our opponent running a kick back.
