This is the make or break year for him. If he ever wants to play in the big leagues he must play in AA this year and have decent numbers.
Too much wind-up?His problem has never been his swing form. It’s always been pretty sweet. It’s his bat speed. It’s too slow.
Is that some shyt or what??@NYPost_Mets: Alderson on Tebow: "I think he will play in the major leagues."
What is he, 30?Is that some shyt or what??
If he got called up I'd like to go but chances are he would ride the pine.

His swing wasn’t sweet, it was stiff and he muscled everything. Being loose (like he is in the video) will increase bat speed.
Have you been to his games? Nice and smooth swing. But no bat speed twitch at all. Hopefully he finds that.
Nope sure haven’t, but I’ll be sure to see him when he comes to play the Braves in Orlando :)
Here’s a scouting report from Baseball America (reputable source). His swing is much, much improved the limited amount we see in the video above.

... limited pitch recognition is his issue. That is going to probably be his demise, just because of him being out of baseball for so long.

One of the quotes from that article:
That may be the issue with his bat swing. When I watched him, he had powerful, looping, full body swings - instead of compact, quick twitch swings. Maybe he's not recognizing the pitches fast enough to react to them.
