19 seasons with SA. Second only to Kobe for time with one franchise.

Spurs won at least 60% of their games every year of his career.

One of the more interesting events I have ever attended was seeing the 1997 NBA Draft in the old Charlotte Coliseum, and Duncan was the #1 pick that year. Class act supreme, and still a great ambassador for the Demon Deacons as well.

One of the best all time, but never once tried to draw attention to himself.

One of the last of the old guard athlete that did stupid stuff like let his game speak for him and was truly committed to winning by being a good teammate.

Glad he has left, now we can get back to the blowhard, self-centered athletes we are used to.

I never liked the Spurs until TD played for them. I never really had a favorite NBA team and still don't, but I rooted for the Spurs every year since 1997 because of TD. I don't know who I'll be rooting for next year, other than Gators on various NBA teams.

Quiet, a class act, team first attitude, and wickedly smart. He probably could have played a few more seasons. He'll be missed.

This guy's in my all-time starting five along with MJ, Oscar, Bird and Wilt. LeBron comes off the bench.

The character of the game got a little worse yesterday. I don't watch a lot of NBA anymore but he was a reason to watch. I don't think the NBA really knows the depth of the void that is now created with his absence.
