This one’s a little surprising. But not as surprising as the fact that he could not get playing time even with the safety play we’ve had the last two years. Based on HS ranking, he had guys in front of him that had no business being there, with two different staffs.

Why do we have Spring Training and the O&B Game?
For the coaches and the team that's what this is...Early Spring
First it's Vegas and that's where most of the players wanted to play. VEGAS vs Birmingham or Memphis?
Then it's on a Saturday and a week before Christmas. They get to be HOME for Christmas.
It frees the Staff up to recruit...HUGE
It allows the players that are left to be evaluated. We might get to see Miller and Brown at QB?
And no one has any expectations...EXCEPT Chatter.

Yep. My offense would be 2 RBs. No QB. No WRs. TEs only. Run it. Play defense (tackle) and solid STs.
GAs and cheerleaders run the practices.
Coaches hit the road recruiting for 23,24,25.
Meet the team in Vegas the night before the game.
Then coaches do the portal evaluations during the dead period the day after the game through Jan 12.
